Hey!! This is so true. Wetline and Hawaiian Silky combo is my forever go to. This makes my curls unbelievably soft and hella curly. Before Wetline alone makes my hair feel like a birds nest. I’ve been searching for something that could give me the hold and curl pattern desired w/o the dreaded crunch to no end and this does it perfectly. It feels like a waste of all the other products I’ve bought for this feel. This will be my go to from now on. No more wasting my money thank goodness. Your video is over a year old and I just found it after I had tried it lol. Thanks for doing this I wish I had found it a zillion products ago ☺️

It came out looking great! I like pairing the Wetline with Shea Moisture Curling Gel Souffle. Kind of the same concept, Wetline takes the stickiness of the Gel Souffle away and the Gel Souffle keeps Wetline from being crunchy.

That used to be my combo! After they changed the formula of the souffle, it didn't quite work as well for me. It was soft for the first couple of days, but then it had this weird hardness that's hard to explain that I didn't like. Also, after I found that curl activator gels do the same thing, but cheaper, I went that way.

@@shenette I hate when that happens. :( It's good that you found a new combo that works. I haven't had that issue yet, but maybe it's only because I tend to redo my wash and go every couple of days.

I think it’s the glycerin that gives me the softness but the dreaded sticky icky feeling but paired with Wetline that kills the sticky messy feeling with the curling soufflé or Hawaiian Silky yeah 😃

I recently used wetline and I did not like it. My hair started to revert after the second day whereas eco styler gives me definition for the entire week. Hawaiian Silky makes my hair texture look looser than what it actually is IDK why

Hey luv, my experience with the "CLEAR" wetline extreme was like yours. However, I tried the"BLUE" wetline extreme....... GAMECHANGER!!!!! It has aloe Vera gel so the hold is not as crunchy. Please try the BLUE wetline extreme. You'll thank me later😁

@FinallyAmber you are protein sensitive as well correct? How did your hair feel after using the Hawaiian silky couple of times- being that it has protein? My hair is like yours except MUCH THICKER. I've been using your combo of the Mane shampoo and Milk, that works wonders in my hair THANK YOU COUSIN!!! ❤ Also I'd like to ask which detangling brush would you recommend? My hair felt good with it because it has tons of glycerin. I also have tons of videos on my favorite detangling brushes. I alternate depending on how I feel so I would check out my video reviews and see which is a best fit for you ❤️

I use a similar combo with Long Aid Curl activator w/aloe green jar and olive oil ecostyler(I used to use it with wet line). I tried this Hawaiian silky combo but HS did not provide the slip like Good old Long Aid.

It turned out great. I also pair curl activator gels under my Eco for the same reason. It works just as good. I have 3 curl activator gels that I have loved, Hawaiian Silky, Care Free Curl, and Blue Magic. While I was in the beauty supply store, I saw that Eco now has a curl activator gel also and I picked it up. On my next wash day, I'm going to use each one of the curl activator gels in four sections under my Wetline to see if there is a difference. I never use the hard holding gels anymore without an activator gel now. But for anyone using this method, I don't recommend the LCO or LOC method with this. I have found that the oil makes for a serious whiteness, that does eventually go away, BUT it takes forever to dry preventing you from leaving the house directly after doing your hair. I no longer use creams, butters or oils with my wash n gos. Just leave in conditioner. I also pair my leave in conditioner with a frizz reducing rinse out (but leave it in). This has been my go to combo for over a year and I love it. I just switch between leave ins and Wetline and Eco, whatever I'm feeling for the day.
