WASH 'N GO | CANTU Moisture Retention Styling Gel | Demo & Review

Hey Y'all!
In this video, I try the @cantubeauty Gel for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. It defined my curls with a medium hold. I was only able to get 3 days out of this wash and go, but I think I may be able to get more days next time if I use a leave-in and a cream. I only used a leave-in and it was pretty dry by 3rd day. I think this gel is somewhat drying, but it is affordable and does give great definition for a medium hold.

The only Cantu product I’ve used is the curl activating cream moisturizer and it is great. It is moisturizing and has great slip. It clumps the curls well too. You could use it alone for a fluffy wag, but I paired it with wetline and it worked beautifully.

It came out really nice...I usually don't use Cantu products either but I may give this one a try. I've seen it at target and Walgreens. The glam twins also recommended it on one of their last videos. Great review.

I just purchased this gel 2 weeks ago. Used it for my last two wash and gos and I love it! I could never get Ecostyle gel to work for me, and my hair is very dense. I find for me that this gel is just as thick as Eco. Its smooth, but still a struggle to apply which is why I normally don't do thick gels. Cantu clumps my hair like no other, so I'm forced to shingle. The definition is great w/no frizz. Love that its protein free. I usually don't do cheap stylers, but this here is a keeper!

Thanks for this demo and review 😊👍🏼😊 I use gels way more than creams, so I may give this a try. I used Cantu shea butter for natural hair line - waaaaay too thick for my hair, but this gel tho...seems like it may be a winner.

I’m glad you liked the gel. This is one I haven’t tried yet. My crown is my ‘special child’ too. 😀 It has a mind of its own. I give it more attention than the rest of my hair.
