I think it's good you're holding people accountable. Regardless of what an influencer says is in the ingredients, I always use a few extra seconds to review the ingredients of the products before purchasing. I'm glad you reviewed this gel, I've thought of purchasing it if it delivered a strong hold. I might purchase it.

The hold is there, but there is no crunch. You will get some frizz in the roots as the days go on, but I still think it held up nicely. If you like crunchy 7-day hair, then you may not like this. If you like a softer but still defined look, then you will. Thanks for watching.

It came out great Rae! I've actually been looking into this line especially since it's so affordable. I believe there's a spray leave in but I'm not 100% sure. Also, I don't blame you for holding people accountable...it only takes a few extra minutes to check the ingredients for ourselves.

Ever since my protein overload I had last year. I always read the ingredients on every product I apply to my hair because the protein overload was scary. I had to cut so much off. Every wash day I was cutting my hair. I don't cut as much as I use to maybe every three months now. Your curls turned out nice. I love the shine. Never tried those products. Thank you for sharing. I paired this gel with the Curls Creme Brulee leave-in and I 😍 it!! A great moisture/hold mix that keeps my style longer than I have ever had. There is TACK, but its not unbearable and NO FLAKES!! It does seem to dry out after day 3, but considering my hair fiber that's good for me 👍🏽. (I DID NOT NEED TO TOUCH UP!!) Please feel free to try my combo - I would love to know what you think...

Rachelle, I’ve the only African Pride product that Ive tried is the pre-pop which I love. I’ve heard good things about the curl cream. Girl! I wish my 1st day hair looked as good as your 4th day hair - LOL!

Never tried the gel by African Pride. About to try the Moisture Miracle Curling Cream. I pray it will soften my hair. Very hard at all times. God bless you.

This is the favorite Wash n Go that you've done! It's shiny! And the definition is perfect!! The hold seems good, too! It came out perfectly 🥰. It's weird their Milk isn't compatible with the gel! ☹️ Thanks for the warning because I definitely would have tried to use them together. I've used the Milk before, but only to refresh a WnG. It's excellent. But like you noticed, it's oily! Such an excellent video!! 👏🏾 💕👍🏾

In my humble opinion, if people feel “that” strongly about so called ingredient misinformation, they can create their own channels and put out their own content to ensure the “correct” ingredients are noted. Other than that, it’s really not that serious if you are literate and can read for yourself. SMH. This has been sitting in my stash so I’m so glad you reviewed it!

Hi Rae the wash and go turned out nice. You have said in previous videos that you sometimes let the shower steam loosen your curls. How to you shower and not get your hair wet? I need that tip 😂

Hi Shelle! I position the shower head to hit my body and not my hair. If it gets a little wet on the back of my neck, that's fine, I just don't let the water drench my hair. Thanks for tuning in.
