That Pattern signature scent is not for me, so I couldn't graduate from the few travel sizes I tried to testing the other products.

I have the jumbo containers in my shower, of all the products, and use them regularly. I will use the leave with the gel one week and the leave in with the custard the next week. I also like the leave in with the mousse for a twist out. I’ve never gotten flakes, but I also do my hair in the shower.

@@NaturalRaeRae it held up pretty well after 3 days! But I did have to refresh it afterwards. It leaves a sticky residue each time which I wasn’t a fan of. I really want to try it for a braid-out to see how it holds up.

Hi Rae the wng came out defined and fluffy and I agree that if you had stretched it that since it is such a soft hold it would have gotten frizzy. I have only tried the Pattern Beauty Detangling Nectar.

Yw. Yes, my hair can last over three days, but I try not to go longer than 3 or 4 days with my wash and gos. I get less tangles and shed hairs that way. Thanks for tuning in.

I loved your hair! Day 3 looked the best to me! I love her products & how they work in my hair (except the curl gel), but no matter what I do they ALWAYS flake 😩😩😩😩 It’s not terrible but I still don’t like it… And the signature Patchouli scent is wonderful to me, but that Palo Santo…!!!!! I love the Pattern products! This custard does amazing on my tight coil 4c hair. You have to read the suggestions on the back of the jars. She has different products for different types of hair. I like this better than the mousse. I also love the curl gel!!!

Your hair looks great and I love the custard but this line is really for 3 hair types and not so much for 4 hair types because it will dry your hair out. Since I do wash and gos daily or every other day, my moisture level is pretty consistent but for anyone who wants to use Patterns products and not have a moisutre rich leave-in that will work with their stylers. . .you will feel the drying effect. Not even mad about it because look at the owner of the company. Tracee has type 3 hair and she gets it done daily so it would NOT effect her the same way as us 4 hair type girlies.. .

Thank you! That's an interesting take that you have on the stylers. I'm type 4 and have gotten pretty good results with her products but, then again, I do my hair quite often as well. I would say that type 4's can definitely use these products, they just need to know what products to use and when to get the best results. @@NaturalRaeRae I enjoy your videos. Try Pattern''s rice mask. . now surprisingly, it is quite hydrating and will make your curls pop as soon as you rinse the mask out. I use it once a a month but could use it once a week as a weekly mask. Very hydrating for it to have rice as an active agent which for some can cause a protein overload.
