Thank you for making this film. Seriously one of the best I’ve watched in a long time. A lot of people forget that there’s still a ton of older shredders out there still kicking up dust. As a 42 year old head this is inspired me in so many ways ! Thank you thank you !

41 here. Been shredin the gnar for 30 years straight now, no breaks. Even instructed. '94-96 were my beginner days. I've ridden with some who started in the 70's and 80's. There are those who take from the sport and those who give and then there's those who give everything they have. Let's manifest a place in the afterlife where our souls can unite and forever ride in eternal winter!

Ooooh how I enjoied to watch this Snowboardmovie! I started Snowboarding in 1992 when I was 17. I loved it but then I moved and was too far from the Mountains and too expensive to travel to the Mountains at the Weekends. I went Skateboarding a lot, but then that Skatepark with a Vertramp also closed in 2015, after my first local Skatepark had to shut theyr Doors forever in 2003 (which was the reason for the move to the City with the other Skatepark). Getting older, having some other struggles and not the best health, made my last vew years not the most enjoyable ones. Until Last winter when I said to myself: F...everything, I go Snowboarding! The first two Days back on Snow I used rented gear, which wasn't too bad, but not the best either. TO BE BACK ON A SNOWBOARD, WAS THE BEST DECISION I HAVE MADE IN A FREAKEN LONG TIME!!! It felt sooo good and it made me cry because then I really realised how much I actually have missed beeing on a Snowboard during the last 17 Years!!! I enjoied every every second of snowboarding again. I don't give a F...k a bout the expensive travel and Skiresortpasses. I'm far from beeing rich, but I need this feeling what Snowboarding gives me, nothing else can give me that, so I'm not anymore stoping myself from enjoying that Passion. I'm now almost 47, back at Snowboarding again (unfortunately not right now because of Summer) and I will never stopp snowboarding again unless I can't stand on my feet anymore. This Movie made me wana go Snowboarding right now and it brought back so much memories from back then!!!

So this last night as Aslan, and all I can say is **** YEAH! 49 years old, snowboarded around the world, been buried so many times, the T square / Wainhouse part is just ****** awesome. The shots of him are just perfect and make me want to it to be December again NOW. 32:22 Manuel Diaz I was thinking, oh man, I have been there, that is going to let go, and boom! Brings me way back to 1994, epic winter in the Alps and we went along a wind loaded cornice like that outside of Lech and managed to stay on top of it. I LOVE that people are still pushing the sport, not getting into the hype of the scam of the olympics and that nonsense and are out there enjoying the wilderness, hope to see some of you out there because I finally settled back in the area after visiting family here for years.

Recently after hearing about Ken Block i watched DC Mtn Lab and forgot what i'd been missing. And now seeing this, the more seasoned shredder still going hard. I want nothing more but to get back on the board. The board has been dusted off, new gear ordered and off to Hemel fridge next week. I'll be hurting but i know i'll love it. Im 35 and i just learned corked cab 9 tails, switch backside 7 mute and stale, and i have back 10s pretty much on lock with a backside grab. Learned all those last season. Learned to ride when i was 13. I was always overweight as a kid so i was just a steep and deep dude. I got ripped as a force recon Marine scout sniper, joined at 20, got out at 30. Started scummin out in my rv all winter after a summer of fixing cars. I built myself a 4x4 converted, 600 hp, compound turbo'ed and bulletproof'd 6.0 powerstroke 26 foot e350 RV. I totally remodeled the inside to like a bachelor's floor plan. King size memory foam bed...eh ladies?? Eh??? Kidding.... insane surround sound, coilover and radius arm front suspension and axle from a 2014 f450, bigger shower, 72 inch flat screen, 38 inch tires, air lockers, 15,000 pound winch, and shes murdered the fuck out inside and out with purple LEDs inside and stupid amounts of LED light bars outside. Its an absolute beast man. She'll smoke the tires off the rims. Its a trip watching a 26 foot rv yoke 4x4 cookies in the parking lot like this thing does. If you're in the sierras and you see a murdered out, lifted rv, come say what up to a ninja!!! Shit, ill fuckin school you on the best secret nooks and crannies. I know all the spots that dont get run out super fast on the powdy days. Hope you all have rad seasons!!!! Spot your landings, look at the gaps between the trees, not the trees themselves, dont hit any children, stay in that steezy ass crouch and be cool to skiers. They might have 2 more apparatus for sliding on snow but what matters is were all sliding on snow. Not what we do it on. Oh yea, and stop with the gaper poser bullshit. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU was a beginner at one time too. Heres an idea, you see a beginner struggling, instead of fuckin slash blasting them, stop and give them a tip. Tell them to keep their fuckin knees bent or to crank their bindings down more whatever it is. Just stop being little asshats man. Just because ur good doesn't mean you have to be a little douchebag to people who arent. You were there at one time too. Remember that.

Nice to see locals rippin local mtns, I was hoping to see Monty Hayes in a shot or two. Nice to see some of the same runs that we’ve put thousands of turns on and of course the PNW powder. Our circle of spit have been rippin Baker and Stevens since ‘85 and still charging, the group of ten has definitely gotten smaller over those 38 years but we’ve picked up some new younger guys over the years. The good thing is we all want powder so there’s a really good vibe on those days, especially when we can get a handful of us up midweek. We’ve had much much younger guys ask if they could tag along because they weren’t familiar with the resort and our response is always “only if you can keep up”, when they find out we’re all in our 50’s they shit their pants. I always like to tell them that they need to look at it as if they love the sport and lifestyle as much as we do, they still have another 30+ years of ripping in their future. This sport has put so many smiles on my face and memories in my head.

Let's make a second washdup, you can film me getting tangled in my sony discman cord. Pre phone & pre ipod days were somethin' else. Spent my 40th bday at Mt Baker with my gnu gloss. Had the husband and kiddo with me but that's life, wouldn't change a thing. We ride. When we're broke and homeless, we ride. When all our friends stop going, we ride. When our favorite brands get discontinued, we ride. When we're too hungover or too stoned to move, we ride. When the kids born after the 90's try to tell us what's up, we ride. When their kids and our kids try to dictate which direction the sport goes, we ride. Ride on boys.
