I saw Washed Out live tonight at the Van Buren in PHX and they played this version. Hearing the album version after this is just such a stark difference. This song was just ok on the album in my opinion but this rendition is better in every conceivable way. The jumbled sounds effects are much quieter and allow you to actually focus on the music being played which includes the BASS OH MY GOD THE BASS IS SO GOOD WHY DIDNT THEY DO IT LIKE THAT ON THE ALBUM. The band he played with at the show I just came from were visibly having so much fun playing this song, I’m so happy this song reached its full potential

Dude, he's still touring right now? I had no idea. I missed his fall shows. Still the Quiet Life tour? I love Get Lost and I love that he evolves his greatest standards a bit with each new vibe he crosses into. Eyes Be Closed is a great example. So many amazing live variations on that one.

You know? Their sophomore album 'Paracosm' has always given me a Coldplay vibe. I mean, that's they way Coldplay should've evolved on 'Mylo Xyloto' instead of what they became in 2010's.
