Please explain to me! I've been trying to discern the difference for forever. I can't quite do it. I think I can tell the difference, and then I lose track. Partly A.D.D., partly a little hearing loss. I would love to learn your technique. I think the wool rugs have a smoother, quieter sound, and the synthetics are rougher sounding. It’s one of wool’s wonderful qualities. It will keep you warm (I.e. provide insulation) even when wet, so is great in outdoor adventures.

How do you decide when to use the CRB or when to use the brush? Love your videos!

From binge watching his videos, I feel like he uses the CRB machine when the rug is extra dirty/soiled and deep into the rug! This rug wasn't too dirty, so the brush was sufficient.

@@pattylecompte9846 aww you are so friendly, Patty! I’m moving into my first and last I hope seniors apartment :) yes, it’s official now haha. It’s 42 square meters which is I believe 50 square yards? Total. The livingroom is 16 m2. So I might look for a 2 x 2,5 meter rug. A good Jakub size I’d say. 😂 Thank you for your wishes.

@@tusharmuraliold Based on some quick research, it seems that the extra length of the broader scraper avgs from around 4.5-8.5”. As this is a carpet-cleaning business which does these repetitive tasks frequently and consistently, could it not be deduced, then, that in the long run, the decreased effort and increased time efficiency would have quite a large impact? Respecting your metaphor, it seems less on track with this topic in the sense that different selections are for different fits and purposes, and less about personal preference on a broader scale (though there might be some of that in a smaller margin, still - fit and purpose play the majority of the role). While i respect personal preferences, and not placing differently characterized tools as, “inferior or superior,” i also respect that those different characteristic create variances and ultimately also create positions of, “best fitting,” and, “most optimal to complete the task.” Perhaps the main differences in the currently expressed approaches and perspectives is that you seem to be focusing on individual preference while i’m focusing on overall efficiency and which tool seems optimally effective to complete the task. Clearly this gentleman is a strong young man and makes this tool work to, “get the job done,” but he seems more than equipped to handle a larger scraper (he’s not a little girl trying to throw a 14lb bb), and he’s also running a business; in that arena, ⏰ is an afforded opportunity to do something else - be it for leisure or squeezing in extra appointments for extra cash - either way, expenses are reduced off the top by completing the task more quickly (and in this case it’s not at the cost of quality, either). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
