I had a rug store and sold rugs of all kinds, types of fibers etc. The handmade wool were always a favorite. The smaller the knot the crisper and more detail in the pattern of the rug. The cleaning process you used was exactly correct. You cleaned and preserved the handmade rug that is truly an artform. You can wash them, hose them as long as you don't use really hot heat and shrink the wool or silk fibers. The beauty and colors were uncovered from dirt and dust, back to it's original beauty. Same here, I've worked for years with authentic persian carpets and whatever. NEVER would I have a woolen rug cleaned like this!! You seem to forget that the strength of a woolen carpet is in its protection against dirt via the fatlayer on the wool. Any detergent will remove this fatlayer, you're carpet might look clean but the wool has lost all if its protection! Also the rotational movement of the cleaning machine does more harm than good as the wool is lying in a certain direction!!

The commitment to any craft is a thing of beauty. I worked in a kitchen once after loosing my higher paying office job and felt kinda humiliated but when I got there, there was was this guy who just LOVED it. He wasn’t a chief yet, just a lead line cook, and his passion and attention to detail and hark work ethic inspired me. I ended up being his replacement and yes I eventually moved on to my main career once more, but I’ll always remember that ‘esprit de corps’ he had. Good lesson in life. Even if you hate what you do... do it the best you can.

I have done my weekly cleaning of my apartment today and I wasn't feeling so good afterwards so I took a nap on the sofa and I slept for over 2 hours. Loved the closeup of the sprayer on the fringe. It seems that the middle of the carpet was the dirtiest so Jakub took extra care when spraying off the suds. Attention to detail like that makes him the best carpet cleaner on KZbin. Right hand to the left hand watering can flip -- AMAZING.

I bet that rug weighed a lot less going out the door than it did coming in. Oh my 🤭, hearing the dirt and grit being scraped on the tile with the first squeegeeing was enough to know just how dirty it really was! You did a marvelous job Jakub! That was an amazing transformation and must have really been satisfying to do. It had to be the dirtiest carpet I have ever seen. And the new can toss was spectacular. Thank you, carpet washing is my passion 🤗💖 It is hard to say how many carpets I wash in a day, it all depends on the size and how dirty the carpet is. Sometimes I wash 3 carpets sometimes 13 😁

OMG that’s so much work! We have a bench swing in an old oak tree. Every fall when we take the swing off to put up for winter I hang a 10ft 2x4 from the 2 chains and hang a rug over, spray it down with Awesome cleaner then power wash it clean. Dries overnight and looks brand new. I do this to 4 rugs. What’s great is because it is hanging I can get to both sides, front and back easily.

Yeah, with how much rubbing & unecessary contact there was in this video I wouldn't give a hand knotted rug or anything worth alot to them. At the very least they could have a fine mesh covered elevated frame to work on.

I have watched them all and this is the best carpet cleaning professional on KZbin that I have seen! Carpets are always exceptionally clean. The people that live near this man are lucky to have the best carper cleaning service available! He is extremely thorough and never deviates from his perfected cleaning plan! I would love to have access to his studio and products, maybe he should set up his own sales? He cleans to a standard that would please even the most pickiest of us! What is most amazing he could take shortcuts and save himself a lot of time and still make the same amount of money but he refuses to sacrifice his standards, very admirable and rare in today’s climate. He is worth by far every bit of what he charges.
