I had to re-strip one of my tents once. Never thought about cleaning, but that's a great idea!

I had a few tents that did that urea issue with the urethane I think it was. What a mess. Glad they got that figured out now.

Thanks Lee. UV is the biggest killer of my gear. Especially the less expensive stuff.

I do that mostly too. But eventually a good wash happens. And most of the time, just a good hosing. This tent has seen a lot of use.

Hi Bruce nice one mate, I was only thinking yesterday that I must reproof my Paramo jacket as its completely stopped beading. Looks like nick wax tech wash is the way forward, cheers Tim

I machine wash my rab siltarp 3 by itself in cold water .

Thanks John. My less expensive gear like the Kelty stuff seems more susceptible to the UV damage so I need to treat it every year.
