Get a spray bottle and put shampoo and water in it and spray it everywhere before you shampoo. It helps with building a good lather. I just washed my hair yesterday and did this and it definitely helps drastically. My hair always took way too much shampoo to start getting a good lather and I always felt I was just wasting it.

Cool cool.. I definitely practice intentional cleansing of any unnecessary energy on wash day. 👍🏾 Some ppl cut their locs due to the energy they feel they carry. To them, I recommend the book "The Power of Intention."

If you put 50/50 shampoo and water in an applicator bottle, you get a better lather, use less product, and can apply directly to your scalp.

I like to focus on the roots… the shampoo runs down the hair… but when I do deep clean I do all of it

@@LatiaMelodyQueen It runs down the hair, but the hair is not throughly cleaned. That's like not washing your legs in the shower: some of the dirt, bacteria, sebum, dead scalp that you've lifted from your scalp remains on the length of your hair if you don't cleanse it properly.

Actually, professionals say that when you shampoo, you should focus on the scalp because that's where the dirt is. It runs down, shampoo dries the hair so it's only meant for the scalp. Conditioner is for hair only. Watch a professional. Also, locs aren't dirty contrary to what people believe. If she rinses well enough, there wont be residue. 😊

I think so or a version of this… should be on Amazon…it works soooo good omg… I should of been using this… I’m pretty sure you can use the bar soap the same or just liquify it…
