I love Australian clothes lines! They invented them. I cannot get a sturdy clothesline in U.S. only flimsy ones that don’t go up and down. They are fixed. Clueless!

Don't those plants around the clothesline grow into a bush? I would replant them because the stone base is stunning.

The garden looks smaller after the renovation .

This looks lovely, but if you need lavender to hide the smell of Dad's farty underpants, you need a new washing machine.

I’d like to see the person who thought of this try standing with their head aimed upwards while holding their arms above their head and maneuvering to hang whatever properly..... it looks more like an accident waiting to happen.

90% of Australian households have one just like it. Generations of people, mostly women, admittedly, have managed just fine. You do realise it winds up and down?

I absolutely love mine, and it turns in the wind so everything dries really fast. Can't beat the smell of sun and fresh air dried washing

@@ellieb3930 Apparently it's illegal in some US states to dry your washing outside. Is that nuts or what?
