Thank you so much!! I had cleaned the filter but I think the problem with my machine was the hose itself. Thank you so much for saving my clothes and my wallet!! Greetings from 🇪🇸

Recently moved and the washing machine packed up. EXACT same model as in your video. Helped tremendously to get it going again thanks man.

@@dionbridger5944 Glad that helped. A new washing machine isn’t a bill you need when you’ve moved house. Appreciate your kind comment. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻

Just wondering what are some maintenance we can do to avoid having to do this again in the future?

@@j.p.8137 that’s a good question that I’m not able to answer I’m afraid.

My washing machine hose was filthy. I stuck my finger into the end that drains and my f7nger was covered in slime from detergent build up. Instead of unplugging the hose, I put the washing machine bio cycle which uses 95 degrees c temp water with 3 dishwasher tablets in the machine. It cleaned the machine and the hose - it looks like new. I let the hose drain into the laundry sink into a sieve so I caught all the debris. It was disgusting. It had chunks of slime that looked like seaweed 😂. After the bio wash, I just did another bio wash with couple of towels but no detergent to make sure the machine was rinsed. BEST clean I have done

@@lillywildflower that’s a great job done. Dishwasher tablets ok for cleaning but can kill the pump so be careful.

Nice demo of removing front plate using screwdriver. Otherwise might just snap it off. Also found - unscrew trap screws and twist to free. Then easier to remove hose clip. Lay machine down at c. 45 degrees resting on a stool or box first

You should make a short video showcasing that tool you used to remove the steel hose clamp from up under the kitchen sink. I tried doing a Google search to find something similar and couldn't come up with anything.

@@xVicissitudesx it's a jubilee clip tool. Unfortunately I can't tell you where it came from as it was given to me a long while ago. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻

My tap water smells like egg and the water board man said he thinks it's the return pipe so is that the same thing you've done in this video? 🤔
@MarcusTDM7 ай бұрын
No this is the waste pipe. If your tap water smells of eggs I’d speak to the water board again. Could be bad plumbing. Nothing to do with your washing machine unless it’s coming back up the pipe which isn’t good!
