Thanks for the video. 3 days before Xmas the washer won't drain. Now working so far. A bit advice for the future design, maybe stop the water out when the code F05 shows! I didn't know and just kept trying turn it off then start a new run, ending up water built nearly half full😂😂 took nearly 3 hours to drain all the water out.

Hello, I have a problem with my Hotpoint Smart Tech WMFUG942 washing machine, mine has worn suspension and it’s starting to show signs of a broken spider because it’s making noises. I have videos on my channel about work suspension and for that causing unbalanced spins. The display is also pushed in and it rattles like mad during spin aswell. The buttons beep constantly when I’m not even touch it ( happens on cotton sdandard 40 Or programme 4 ) Thanks for any help in advanced sincerely, Smart Storm.

Thanks my filter was staffed with clothe fibers. I cleaned it and the washing machine is up and running again. ...Be ready to mop lots of water from the floor :)

Emptying the filter worked for a short while. I got £1.27 in change out. Later had to tip machine on its side and take off the pipe and I got another £10.44 out. I let it fall out into a saucepan. I thought I had won the jackpot in Vegas!

Bullshit! You talked about the small tricks and even didn't mention to option to unscrew and remove the pump to see if something is blocked in! Finally, after searching on KZbin, I found a classic guy who gave us the real solution, not the bullshit you served us... Any reason why this particular model lets so many items of clothes past the drum seal leading to them either blocking the pump or getting wrapped around the element? Ours is doing it all the time now with socks, tights and children’s clothes it’s getting silly now

I bought an Indesit washing machine, I highligth recommend you NOT TO BUY THEM. After 2 months I got a brand new Indesit, this one stops washing with my towels inside, I call repair and maintenance and they TOLD ME TO FOLLOW WHAT THIS VIDEO DOES, BEFORE CALLING THEM AS THEY WILL CHARGE ME IF IS ONLY THIS. the sad part is that I paid for a repair maintenance service. and after 2 months does this defect, I was 3 hours taking water out of the machine, is this fear?

Who the hell designed washing machines with the port at the very bottom without considering having at least an inch gap at bottom, why not have the option to plug a hose pipe into the front somewhere. I've just spent an hour to two using a thin baking tray emptying out a full washing machines worth of water.... Stupid. Thanks for the video 😅

Thanks. Please watch the other video if you have water in the machine. It will take 30 mins to 1hr to drain the water bit by bit on the tray. I emptied the water but there was nothing in my filter. I put my hand inside to check and spun the filter which was ok. I turned the machine to spin the clothes and it started to work again with no error code . 🤷‍♀️. I am not sure why it originally stopped as it was not overloaded either. The machine is about 8 months old i have never had a problem beforehand even with other brands. Hopefully it continues to work, but i will keep an eye on the filter, which is always recommended. Many thanks 😊

If step 1 and 2 does not solve your problem make sure you did not overload the machine with soft large clothes that can close and block all the little holes in the drum. MY problem was becase of that. Remove as much water as from the filter at the front-bottom. Then open the door, remove enough clothes and run spin and drain program and do not overload your machine anymore.

Hi Steven Have you tried just running a spin and pump cycle? If you're still getting F05 it means there is a blockage so the water cannot drain away and the door will not open until the water is drained. Kind regards Hotpoint service

Thankyou, did exactly as you said after youtube’ing the error on my hotpoint washing machine. Emptied the drum, found multiple little bits that would stop the waste pump from working. Cleared it straight away it is working. KZbin has saved me a lot of call out fee’s and repair fees (apart from part costs) since buying my home. Thankyou

Hi Glamlad Wales Very hard to pinpoint what could have caused this issue...May have been a transit bolt not removed properly, therefore blocking the drum. But it could be something completely different. If it happens again please give us a call on 03448 224 224 you have a full year manufacturing warranty
