I'm 25 my dad grew up loving the Redskins when they had player's John Riggins and Taylor Lawerence, He had our game room decked out in Redskins gear and I've grown up loving the team especially when they had London Fletcher, Brian Orakpo, and Ryan Kerrigan who I have a signed rookie card of and a personally written letter to me thanking me for my military service and who also happens to be the greatest Outside Linebacker to play the game. I have all the love in my heart for the Washington Redskins. Even when they sucked I would stand behind them no matter what... but this team, I don't even know who they are. So hard to be a fan of a team that changes their name, completely rebrands and still gives you the shaft.

Did anyone think this would turn out better? Look at who Snyder has hired in the last few years in a desperate attempt to save his ownership of the team. Firs, he hired Jason Wright as the team president. Wright, a guy with ZERO qualifications to be a team president other than checking the right identity politics box. Then he hired Martin Mayhew, a guy who was one of the worst GM's in league history in his tenure in Detroit where the Lions went 41-79 including an 0-16 season. Snyder ignored his long track record of incompetence and hired him as our GM not because of any talent, but because he checked the right identity politics box. He hired Ron Rivera a guy with only THREE winning seasons in TWELVE seasons as a head coach....Ron was not hired because he was considered a great head coach....he was hired because he checked the right identity politics box. Hiring people based on what they look like instead talent will NEVER work out well.

I'll say this I get that the QBs are bad, but you can't double down on that with a piss poor OC. You could have had whatever Johnny McFranchise you wanted under center this year but with a patchwork O-line, and play calling that ranged from predictable, to head scratching, to ill advised all you would have gotten was a few more big plays in losses. Not to mention the Defense did improve from the first month, but giving up big plays and failing in crucial situations plauged us all year.
