It's nice to see an area that produces great NFL players via U of M, MSU, and the other schools have a great pro team. I moved to Michigan from New England at age 7 and my mom (a New Yorker) was surprised at how intense the people were about sports....plus they have an intensity about fishing, boating and hunting. The state deserves championship football beyond the Big Ten and the Michigan Panthers of 1983(?).

Nice breakdown of the under center play of the Lions. Been a Lions fan for my whole life, since the early 70's. No matter what happens the rest of the playoffs. This has been the most fun I have had watching the Lions. Reminds me of the Barry Sanders years. We knew we weren't a good team, but we watched every play, because you never knew when Barry was going to rip off a magical play.

I live in Seahawk territory but there was no Seahawks when I became a fan. I was a Chief fan till they won the Super Bowl Len Dawson was QB then. I changed to the Lions because I was a Gordie Howe fan and the Lions beat GB in preseason 30-0 and that was 1970 and I became a fan. I used to joke I was the curse of the Lions..lol

I keep trying to remember that this is only year 1 of a rebuild for Washington and they have some more improvements that need to be made . But they have been able to win and have a more successful season then expected . Detroit is farther along in their development , just like the Eagles . So I have every expectation that Detroit will have a big advantage in this game .

Seahawks fans donated to detroit lions charities 3 yrs ago when the seahawks knocked out the lions out of the playoffs and lions had nothing to play for and then the lions knocked out the packers ans sent Aaron Rodgers packing for the jets..thousands of dollars were taken in to lions charities from seahawks fans and in my book the seahawks and their fans are awesome people...this story is pretty much forgotten but in my mind the seahawks fans are awesome people for their generosity and unique idea to give the lions a. Great breakdown! But a bunch of Commanders fans believe JD will beat us all by himself and are completely ignoring the real issue here, how in the world are they going to stop our Offense though? Even if JD scores 5 touchdowns, I still don't think that would be enough (they barely beat the eagles putting up 5 tds). I've heard them talk about knowing how to chew up clock and sustain drives, like we can't do the same thing with our rush game? The difference is we actually have a real rushing attack, not an improvising qb rushing attack.
