Almost no one is accounting for the first time in five weeks, a starting safety is playing in Tampa - all pro Winfield Jr. who had three interceptions, multiple sacks, and a lot of tackles only playing in about 12 games. This will improve the secondary in Tampa substantially. I did not expect NBC to account for this and they did not. The only network to say anything about this was ESPN where a few sportscasters mentioned it. Simms as good as he is made no mention of this showing a lack of research.

Bucs have been depleted at Safety and LB. Baker got rid of the ball in 2.1 seconds… that’s a huge reason why the OL has been successful

Baker proved me wrong by showing he can play. I knew he had a strong arm but I didn’t think his career would rebound. But Jayden Daniels has a better medium-to-long-term upside than Baker. Jayden has a strong arm too but a quicker release although I don’t have numbers. My eyes see Jayden at 0.35- and Baker at high-0.3s, like Josh Allen. Very good but not awesome. But of course Jayden is s terrific runner too. So win or lose the commanders are on their way. Bucs probably win but I’m rooting for Washington in this one.
