Correct me if I'm wrong Kliff is 9 - 23 in the second half off the season career stats. He needs to adjust his offense every team is pinning there ears back and blitzing on almost every down. Our O-line has gotten beaten up 3 games in a row. Kliff needs to run more 12 personnel doubling up tight ends and using them more in the passing game stop forcing balls to Terry and Brown and give Jayden some protection .

There's a couple things that I was thinking about first. We're not even supposed to be here We won four games last year and the so-called experts said we were gonna do the exact same thing again. And we have surpassed that second We still need some work to do and help at certain positions. And I have full confidence in the organization that they will get this done yeah, it was a tough loss. In a short week, play 2 tough teams. But we can learn from this and what I like seeing now is we're not losing to teams that we should beat like we have in the past. We overachieved in the first half of the season, and the expectation for the team changed. Any success we see this year is a bonus. This team is one year removed from a 4-win season, with a very good front office who had just one offseason to start the turnaround. Maybe we aren’t ready to take on and beat the better teams in the league. So? Four wins last year. Rookie QB. Decades of neglect from ownership. This team has no business being 7-4. But here we are. Once this front office has another offseason or two to actually build the team they want? Future is bright.

I think our aggressive hurry up offense did us in these last two week. If its working and we’re scoring, complimentary football takes place. If not, our defense is hung out with tongues out. Even the Bears lowly offense could take advantage of a tired defense. I think going into the backend of the season, we may want to slow things down and be a bit more methodical on offense. Especially in the 4th qtr. A non-scoring hurry up offense is detrimental.

We are worn out; the defense is tired in 4thQ because offense isn't eating 7-10 min clock on drives anymore. We don't have depth, and faced a buzz saw of teams in a row. Hopefully we are in first or second place next year and don't get the last possible bye week, which has been happening lately. I look at it this way, besides "we are ahead of schedule/playing with house money"; these games will help identify who stays, who goes, who stays as backup that is a starter now, it's experience for our rookies, etc. Hopefully JD learns that he has to pick his spots to run and protect himself.

Been a Washington fan 52 years, .This team has been the most fun since then 91/ 92 & RG3 season..never saw them at 7-2 much less 7-4 with a new staff, front office, rookie QB make shift offensive line, porus secondary and 11 new starters ...Last season the Houston Texans with about the exact same overall and coming off a 3-13-1 season in 2022 had a 6-5 record after 11 games with loses to Carolina, the Jets and Jags. Washington's 4 losses were to the Healthy Bucs who handed the Lions their only loss, 7-2 Eagles who also lost to the Bucs, the 7-2 Steelers & 6-3 Ravens. When healthy all four are the best in the NFL all made the playoffs last season.. stop all the complaining Folks enjoy the drink savior the taste.

We straight. The league is any given sunday. But is broken down into categories. “Any given sunday but most likely to win” and “……most likely to lose”. We’re in a separate group of our own IMO. The Commander are “Any given sunday, but most likely to win against teams with no playoff aspirations”. But we’re also “any given sunday but has to play mistake free football to win against winning teams”. Im ok with that in year one. As this young teams learns about those football moments (4th qtr, 4min, 2min etc) they’ll stop doing what we’ve seen that past few games.

Jayden is obviously limited with the rib. No deep shots at all, very few intermediate routes and even when he runs he’s slow and can’t juke like he can when he’s healthy. Mariotta is more than capable of running this offense until the rib gets healthy. You can call it an off day. If you remove the Burgundy colored lenses it’s not hard to see the rib is holding him back and right now Mariotta gives us the best chance to win. It’s great that he’s proving he’s tough but I’d rather have a smart qb than a tough qb.

The thing I didn’t expect is for Dan Quinn to make such a ill advised decision to go for it on 4th and 2 when we had a chance to kick a FG to go up 1 pt with 9 minutes left… Dan Quinn panicked and thought that aggression would fix an ugly game.. A garbage time TD is a TD where the defense backs off and lets the offense trade yardage for time off the clock. And all the stats and points compiled at that point are garbage because it was given, not earned. The irony is palpable because you made it clear YOU dont know what garbage time is. Quinn probably picked up this padding the stats/points habit from his time with the Cowboys, because its their go to move when the game is out of reach. With a garbage time TD and the uncharacteristic misses by Elliott, only serve to give the delusional hope. The Commanders dont really have the talent to compete. Yall need some big boys in the middle to help against the run, another off ball LB, definitely a WR2, not to mention No YAC Zach and Wagner will need to be replaced sooner rather than later. Talent wise, its a very uphill battle vs the Eagles, and Thursday night might have been ur best chance.

I wouldn't say their defense ain't shit, though I would say they haven't faced a receiving core like a really good group since week 4 against the Bucs. Our receiving core from last year was elite compared to this average receiving core the commanders got now. Sam Howell looked like Baker on the bucs against Philly last year,because he was actually hitting the tight window throws while Jayden Daniels looked like he had the gout playing against Philly.

Y’all are a good team just not there yet. But the fan base thought y’all were there. Eagles went up and down the field just kept shooting them selves in the foot not scoring in red zone. Commandos really couldn’t do anything on offense. If they didn’t have that last garbage drive they wouldn’t of had 200 yards total offense. Relax y’all will still make playoffs.
