I especially enjoyed the stop at the Lincoln Memorial and Iwo Jima Memorial. They seem to put a person in a very reflective somber mood lit up at night! The view from Lincoln to the Washington monument is incredible!

my dad was a veteran.was with the 101st airborne when it was first formed,was at pearl harbor when it was bombed,put 2 tour in veitnam..parachuted into normandy ..been gone 17 years and i miss him dearly

my uncle was a helicopter pilot ..him and his co pilot was shot down over veitnam..they were found several years later..love the tour thanks so much for sharing
