I like the fight song but does the drumline need to act like their the main section or something ? Like all I hear are the drums and everything else gets either drowned out, or can barely be heard. It's not a drum cor, it's a marching band.

Cheiftain 19. Booooo. CMB DL is amazing! So often, you can't hear them in other bands. You hear them in this posting cuz they are right in front. Not the case in the field shows or the stand. Other schools should be so lucky to have a line like this.

What has happened is that the drums were in the front that decision was probably made by the drum major or the professor there also I wouldn't say they were sloppy, the rhythm is consistent also a cell phone's audio recording is never accurate one final thing the sound from the band would have been over powering if they were in the front.

Sorry for bringing this back up after a year and not to argue for or against your case but I love that you said the drumline shouldn't drown the band out because they're not a drum corp.
