I'll hazard a wild guess here: as the daughter of a billionaire, Ms DeVos was given a first rate, IVY LEAGUE education. Thus it follows, she really ought to have far better command of English. It is now 2019, and I recently heard her say something to the effect of, "I had not intentionally visited the underperforming schools.." (Intentionally, meaning - with an intent, purpose, or specific objective). What I think she meant to say was, "I INTENTIONALLY had not visited the underperforming schools..". That at least makes syntactical sense. But even if such were the case, it is her job to be informed, current, and very present. So she is SUPPOSED to visit schools, regardless of how they perform. That's her responsibility. Reminds me of the clueless Kristjen Nielsen a few weeks ago, during a cringe-worthy moment where she was asked point blank, about 'children in cages.." "I have no information on that.." she responded.

What regulations will DeVos put into operation after a sexual assault was commited at her Alma mater, Holland Christian School? It's tempting and easy to condemn someone like Betsy who will never likely donate to a LGBTQ school fund or program unless one of her children or grandchildren identifies as such. I can't wait for the day that karma is served to her, so she will know how her adherence to unjust policies has led to mass mistreatment of children, parents, and others involved in childcare.
