Sadly the captain Shan Masood has to take some blame for this loss and I am sure Shan understands it. His dismissal in both the innings especially in second innings had a huge impact on the outcome. In first innings Shan did not plant his foot in line of the ball and as result a gap between bat and pad and the ball did take the edge rather than looking at his technique, Shan argued that sets a bad example. Second innings the ball was on the fourth stump, he chased the ball and once again a sense of disbelief. Why is Shan playing th ball on his fourth wicket? If Shan cannot score runs then he needs to bat down, Babar and Rizwan need to bat up the order. Bangladesh like other teams in the world have paid close attention to playing aggressive and positive cricket. Pakistan has to change its attitude? Losing a test match after scoring 470 off runs in the first innings is unheard of.
