@@LORDVADER_01 He's propably talking about the state of Garp. He could technically be alive if kuzan froze his hole. From what we know until know, there's no way to tell if he's alive or not. (even though we're all assuming that he's dead)

It's so poetic. The two disciples. Kuzan the defector, who choose to quit from Marine, stood quietly, listening as his old master delivered a stirring speech to the new future marines-idealistic souls who still believed in their sense of justice. Indirectly telling him, it's not you Kuzan, it's them. They are the future. Garp is so proud of Koby. The grandson he never had. The path Luffy suppose to take. The Impact he suppose to pass down to Dragon and Luffy. Garp experiencing disappointment twice. Last episode tell us that when Dragon and Luffy take a different path. He loves Koby so much. While Kuzan right there, his sense of justice was tested twice. While in Marine, he had to freeze his best friend Saul. He then questioned himself whether his action was right or not. Now when he try to be flexible, trying to conduct his new sense of justice being in pirate crew, he is tested again. He had to freeze his master.

0:50 : the "pause" is for making spectacular episodes without big rush (like JJK's drama) because many spectacular moments gonna happen for sur. During this "pause" they gonna show us the remaster/shrink version of the Arc "Fishman island".

Every Garp & Koby moment in the episodes we had would make one of the greatest movies of all time. Toei did a fantastic job bringing the chapters to life.

I mean garp kinda dissapointed me ngl like the dude is wb age and healthy and yet lost half his strengt after one stab whereas wb kept going after reacieving 260+ on top of100+ gun wounds ,50 + Canons, he suffered a heart atack mid battle due to his illness and was punched a whole into his chest and his face and still his body didnt collapse and then you have garp who was stabbed once and went down

@@gamingparadise3390 You realise that what Garp did is still insane? Aokiji belongs to the strongest in the sea, all these high end commanders of BB are powerful and he still protected his navy unit while fighting multiple of them AND being fatally wounded. Let me see anyone take a sword to the stomach and fight like Garp in his old age. Not anyone is like Whitebeard, not erveryone can be stupidly tanky, and Garp did things WB could not have done. His mobility is far higher than Whitebeards [i mean Garp was very fast both at jumping to the island guy, intersecting the attack on Coby and facing Aokiji because Whitebeard was slow and had to be protected by his crew quite often], his damage output without devil fruit was insane and Garp knew exactly that he had fulfilled his purpose so there was no need to keep fighting. I think we all wish he had escaped but the result we got is already a miracle, wishing for more would just be delusional.

Luffy and Dragon gonna get super saiyan when they hear Garp is captured (I assumed it because Kuzan froze Garp and they need a replacement for Koby. Plus it said disappearance and not dead. A legend won't die.) lol

The main reason of the break, is because One Piece mangaka, Oda, has taken lots of breaks since last year. Producing less and less manga chapters a year. The anime has no luxury of having breaks as much and if they try to make filler episodes, their rating will drop so much. So to compensate, they will take a long break for the manga to comfortably get ahead. And also I'll tell you, they don't wanna mess up bad the next upcoming episodes of the Egghead arc with fillers. This is the best for them. That is the main reason, only additional is the complaints about them using the same sound effects since Dragon ball and other minor stuffs. They might change that as well.

This was the first episode in a long time where I felt they were really milking every scene and dragging things out to fill time. Still a great episode, just wish it could've been paced a little differently. Also, I've heard a lot of people complain about the name "honestly" impact being stupid, but personally, I don't think anything hurts more than the truth LMAO

Out of all the crazy strong geezers, i love Garp the most. Like Luffy laughing at his empeding death / capture at the thought that his crewmates are safe. In that way he succeeded greatly where Whitebeard failed.

It's incredible how this girl started 13 chapters of One Piece and then decided to skip absolutely everything until the Dressrosa saga and "stay up to date" with the weekly One Piece reactions and get the likes and views that that brings. She insults this whole great work that is One Piece and ruins her own opportunity to enjoy it from the beginning and even so, everything has turned out great for her. I mean Wow

I kinda get your point of old Sound effects being nostalgic to one piece fans... However I have to respectfully disagree, because way too many one piece sound effects are actually re-used dragon ball sound effects from the 80s-90s and that's just very lazy from an identity perspective. The one piece sound effects don't have their own identity the way Jojo sound effects or MOB or DANDADAN etc do. It removes the immersion when you hear the super saiyan sound effect in the middle of luffy vs kaido. I think thats one of the biggest point of excitement for the fandom concerning WIT's remake of The One Piece : completely new freshly engineered SFX
