Only had one catapult before, which a bought with my pocket money when I was kid. It lasted two days before I put a stone though next door neighbours bathroom window and it was confiscated, so was my pocket money for a long time! Things have sure progressed and at £24 so has the price too but I am always happy to pay a bit more to support a British company, cheers Alan

Bub! And sir, you're right about the basic principles of slingshot. Only other things are your grip on the ball in the pouch, and your release. Pinch the pouch just on the ball, so the pouch is open, and your ball doesn't have to skip over a finger on its way out, throwing the shot.

Hi Andy. Might be my forst time commenting on your chanel but I'm a good friend of Grasshopper. Have you looked at optimising your band length for your draw? Its something to look into. Makes for more accurate, comfortable and powerful shooting. Look into it! I have a Wasp Enzo and whilst it was frustrating at first I love shooting it now.

Price aside do you prefer the tube or the flat band better? With myself I can get a heavier pull with flat bands by doubling or tripling up my bands over the tube. I'm not sure if it's legal for you to attach a whisker bisket to it so you can shoot arrows but if you can it's a lot of fun too. Thanks for sharing. God bless and stay safe.

I think with more practice and time I will prefer the flat bands, they just seem to deliver more wallop! I’m no expert either brother! All I can say is that I only have experience with old fashioned type slingshots and these modern designs are way better! I don’t think you will go far wrong with anything made by wasp! They all have great reviews and if you’re a beginner will be more than adequate to learn your craft! Very best wishes mate 👍🏻👍🏻😎

I have always loved Slingshots and shooting with them, amazing how they have evolved and those wasp’s look awesome for sure. Love that centering dot 👍🏻 I haven’t ever tried shooting the clay balls, is there much weight difference between steel & clay ? I would imagine so and as I have shot many different things through slingshots over the years it has seemed to make a bit of difference in hitting my targets with needed power and aim. Thanks sister! Yea they have come a long way! The clay balls are a lot lighter than the steel ones and yes placement is very different! Andy i am so chuffed that you got a wasp frame its night and day compared to the black widow with flat bands you get higher fps for a lighter draw weight as long as you match the ammo to the band thickness and taper along with a higher degree of accuracy but in a survival situation tubes are way more resilient to wear and outlast flatbands happy shooting brother ❤️✌️

Great shooting mate you should keep up a bit of practice with the right ammo and band/taper you could be deadly with that i started shooting cattys in January its good fun and a good weapon to know how to use

Not as yet mate, but on the wasp it’s very easy to do, you just have to losen the enzo clamps and rotate them to the sides, and re tighten them with your bands in. Even I can do it lol… so should be no problem for anyone. Best wishes mate 👍🏻😎
