@@GarbageGus If they have recycle bins at all. A lot of places that have garbage bins labeled for recycling inside the building don't even have a recycling dumpster outside the building.

They should have trucks specifically for recycling. Not collect trash, then food waste then recyclables. That's cross contamination.

it really wouldn't make a huge difference for the amount of effort that would cause. People throw trash in all 3 bins, they get rainwater, etc etc. All recycling is contaminated to some degree.

In a perfect world it would happen. These companies arent going to spend millions buying trucks that will sit around waiting to be used. When trucks breakdown what ever is available at that moment is used. Same if you go help out another route,whoever's finishes goes to help .

We have separate trucks where I live. One for trash one for recycle and one for green waste.

Yes, but if it’s below a 5% or so contamination threshold then it’s ok, alot of contamination is present in recycling dumpsters anyways
