Nice video dude! It was great to see all the manual setouts being handled, and the speed of the blade didn’t seem all too bad either. I’m glad they went with saddle mount tanks on this truck, it just looks so much better in my opinion. Great find!

Thanks dude! It definitely was entertaining to watch a fully manual route. It’s always nice when the blade is able to keep up with the crew and I really like the look of the saddle mount tanks as well, glad you enjoyed!

Awesome video Andrew! Pretty cool to see a Pete 348. Also, I like the crew good pace keeping up doing the route. Like you said the guy definitely knew what to do when operating a garbage truck. Great work!

Thanks! I agree, the crew definitely moved at a good pace and the driver definitely knew his way around the truck!

Awesome vid. I can attest that being on rear load pick ups sucks. I don’t understand why companies don’t have a two man helper system and a driver. With two helpers in the back, it would be so much faster. Instead of one helper doing both sides and the driver occasionally getting off to help like every so often. And then the time it takes for the driver to walk back to the truck, get in, belt up, and go, is all wasted time that they could be on the way again if they had two helpers. I’m sure it has to do with money of course.

Thanks. Certain companies will run three man crews with two guys on the back but most usually only run two man crews. WM in particular has been phasing out rear load routes and moving to fully automated routes.
