I like this "neuter and release" approach of dealing with cheaters. They aren't a nuisance anymore, they are basically harmless and they can rage with their tiny impotence. This should be automated once the anti cheat detects a cheater. It would actually contain them instead of having to suffer through it before they get caught again.

This would be a great way to mess with cheaters on the daily. A mode that lets them “play” all except PvP. Just set it up to also destroy all their structures when they log off. This would be a total mind-fuck to the cheaters, never knowing if they were caught till it’s way too late and tons of time wasted.

Ive never played rust, But still find myself watching every video you post of cheaters :) Love it! Something I wish you would do with cheaters is a wheel of fortune game, spin the wheel which decides their fate until they leave the server. Even have a "Stay and Play" win on the wheel. Which simply means you go invisible and they are stuck in the chair on a ice berg with some dangerous chickens. Keep up the awesome work my fellow Aussie!!

I used to love rust, but a couple years ago i just couldnt stand playing with the amount of cheaters i was facing, After a full week with a ban notification every days i stopped... Just a week ago i felt like playing again and found a fresh wipe. I couldnt even build my starter base before i ran into a cheaters duo. Hey Camomo; you should have whoever helps you with your plug-ins/admin scripts, see if they can create a script which sets the decay rate for the selected cheater's entities to insanely high so the things the place/have placed in the world decay super fast.

This brings to mind a good idea for a new thing to do with the cheaters. Find a way to give them a task of monumental proportion that will use at least an hour of their time, with the hope of erasing their ban and the promise to clean up. Like starting from scratch and making "x" AKs or Grenades or something. Then, if they finish it.... BAN THEM

My favorite vid is Cheaters #5 from a long time ago when you talked in game to the cheater and casually took over his base. He got so mad. All the rocket, grinder, train gimmicks are cool to watch, but the cheaters enjoy it more than anyone so it kinda backfires. Set up a connection code to current and past cheaters so when they enter Bandit or outpost they are automatically seen as hostel then watch the chaos ensue lol that would be a great vid.

Remove their ability to dmg others etc. Once they rage quit and log off ban them silently once you have noticed them log off the server. i was watching another youtuber showing off how various games caught cheaters, one of them interested me, which i think would work in rust, the game creators created invisible players just for cheaters to lock onto with cheats and when they do they get banned, invisibl clones of players in game that actually run around doing nothing other than baiting cheaters to shoot them and then BAM! the ban hammer...
