I’m a chargers fan but I come in peace. What DA has is really great route running that defenses have to account for, it creates a cushion. Really great route runners can be found in the 2nd and 3rd round. Screw HOF divas who don’t want to be a role player. Find someone with great route running and build around Brock Bowers (whose ceiling is in outer space)and the o-line. It would be dink and dunk football but it would be a physical imposing offensive force. If there’s a next level of physicality up front with space over the middle consistently you’ve got a team that can impose its will and wear down defenses. It’s also the type of offensive scheme that a young quarterback can develop in.

The real business decision that was made was by Telesco and Marc when they spent all that money bringing in Minshew.. They didnt want to sit Minshew after paying him and AO12 is on a cheap rookie deal. I think minshew didnt so much win the job as much as they couldn't sit him and pay him starter money. Devante know's AO12 should have been given the first shot and seen this organization made a business decision knowing Minshew didnt win the job. We're wasting Devantae's time here and he know's it by them making these kinds of decisions.
