Another terrible performance. For me the lack of urgency and attempts is the most frustrating thing, they want to walk it into the net most of these games they have been struggling.. SHOOT..make the goalie save.. in weather like this the odds of them spilling it are high, all attackers should be looking to pounce after the goalie fumbles it, but we dont even shoot ffs.. the middle of the pitch is bare, clarkson gets the ball and passes it back or to the side or he is playing as a false 9, we have nothing through the centre. We win most headers then lose most 2nd balls, probably about 90% of crosses/corners hit the first man, it is just terrible and there is no excuse for it. Shinnie pissed me off a bit today, I'm in the merkland but i saw him try to get the south stand to start cheering - how about as captain you get your squad to give a performance worth cheering for as it's getting OLD cheering for this shit. Reward us for standing in the pishing rain/wind/cold by playing some decent football, how about that??

I was in the Richard Donald for the first time on Saturday. Dreadful atmosphere, dreadful performance, dreadful cold. What has happened to this team? They dont look up for it all, anymore. It was supposed to be quick tempo pressing football but it ponderous, slow, sideways passing guff with a hoofball at the end of it. Starting to question Thelin's selections tbh.

Neilson has been dreadful since the 6 - 0 defeat needs dropped asap, him and shinnie are too similar, it’s almost like we are playing 2 defensive midfielders… 🥴 Morris is a far better impact sub, Duk needs to start before him. Just about lost patience with Nisbet and Soklar over the last few games, I’d rather see Ambrose get a start or even game time until Papa gets back. Playing 2 strikers could work, nisbet at the top, sokler just behind. Mcgarry was questionable yesterday, as was McGrath, but he’s been off his game for the past couple of games. From what I have watched, clarkson seems to be the only impact sub that doesn’t work, he needs to start, no point him coming on as a sub. Rant over. 🙂

I would say our worst performance since the defeat at Dens Park just after Neil Warnock left. Both Nilsen and Shinnie were dreadful in the first half and Nilsen kept giving the ball directly to the St Johnstone players more times than I could count in the first half. I don't know what the problem was today, but I'm hoping it is just fatigue after a long season. To be fair Shinnie did improve a bit in the second half, but our whole team relies on both our holding midfielders playing well and they were a long way off it today. That's the first time in a very long time that I've walked out of a game at Pittodrie before the final whistle, I was that disgusted by what I was watching. Probably the last time I did that was when Hibs beat us 2-0 at home early last season.

@ if Dante Polvara is fit and available I’d like to see how a Polvara / Palaversa midfield combination works and would be happy to see them both start against Hibs. I do think we need Shinnie at some point but with the large number of games coming up we do need to rotate the squad. I’m just wondering how much of the current rotation Jimmy is doing just now is just him trying out what combinations of players work well together. Jack Milne playing RB I’m one half and LB in the other seemed like a bit of trying different things out to learn more about the squad and I’m glad that’s one of the very few positives we can take from that game
