What if it was windy the day of the cleanup? This method what of been totally useless, as when they went to dump, the trash would be blowing all over the place when the hopper was raised. Street sweepers would of been a better method.

Great job! IMO, I feel like the PB Loaders are pretty much useless as far as scraping up loose trash off the street. Towards the end where workers were bagging up the trash & cardboard, that was a better use for them. Maybe LA should invest in the Elgin Pelicans as well since they'll have bigger hoppers. Those air sweepers aren't suited for those largr cups LOL!

The first 9 minutes were almost painful to watch. It's a good video, but what they were doing, and the way they did it, was an incredible waste of time, manpower and resources. I've never seen anything so stupid in my life. The guy driving the yellow truck with the front bucket loader pushed about a third of the stuff onto the sidewalk. And then when he dumped it into the truck, and lot of it spilled out onto the sidewalk. The articulated loaders were equally useless. There's got to be a better way than that. Later on it got better.

This whole clean up is very backward. Why don't they put some large containers on the sidewalks where they have to put the litter in during the marathon ? That's more effective than driving along afterwards with clean up trucks. 🙄
