25:24 omg as a long time roller skater (for fun) i sometimes get burnt out of it. but it just takes you a little but or longer to get used to the roller skating ways again but once you get the hang of it its really fun! and whats even more fun and pleasing is roller skating on smooth areas, its so nice 😂 just thought i would give that advice. but i cant currently roller blade bc its so so soooo cold where i live (massachusetts-core!!😂) so have fun with the some-what warm florida weather u have!!

I love these new little builts ! So cute ! It gives me some ideas of little things I can do on my own island :) I also started roller blading again this year (it's my new year resolution !) and I was very stressed/wobbly the first time but the second time it felt like I had been doing this my whole life 😂 even my friend whomst I skate with sometimes was impressed (he's more advanced than I am lol). I try to go out with my skates at least once a week for 30 minutes minimum, and it's actually something I'm really looking forward to doing each week even though I'm not a sports person at all 🤣 Anyway good luck with roller blading/skating, it's actually so much fun but it needs a bit of practice 😊

I just got into roller skating in January!! I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it and try to do it every weekend! Roller blading is definitely harder than skating because it requires more balance and whatnot. If you want to give it another shot try getting skates!

Hi Raven! Idk if you'll see this but here are some tips for getting back into rollerblading! 1. if you don't get your correct size your feet are always going to hurt! target rollerblades are never correctly sized. 2. Wear big heavy socks that protect your feet from blisters! 3. Make sure you are using outdoor wheels if you want to start rollerblading outdoors. 4. When starting to blade outside, use public parks or empty parking lots as the asphalt is much smoother and cleaner than a neighborhoods sidewalk. 5. I would really recommend using a skating rink to get back into it, they have the correct sizes and it eliminates all the challenges of outdoor skating :) oh and I prefer rollerblading! I started out rollerblading but I didn't vibe w them plus I did roller derby for a couple years so rollerblading is my top pick

If it makes you feel better, your beach is EXCELLENT compared to mine---mine's covered with spare DIY cards and fossils. And free raingear booths. (I feel like I have a pretty rainy island!)

i feel like the tiki torch that is now behind the fence, could fit on the beach just behind the stall and another one between the plank path and the cliff! and you can put one of those tables with a parasol on top of the bread to fill up that area easily. I also think the storage shed actually fit well behind the yacht, maybe in place of one piece of fence. Looks like a little tool shed for the boat repairmen. amazed at how much you were able to get done in such a short time!

I rollerskate and rollerblade! Skating allows you to be more stable because of wheel placement, but blading makes turning much easier. I hope you have fun learning!

If you want to skate but not pay for the roller rink here’s some options: ~basketball/ tennis court ~school track (not during school/ after school program/ sports training hours, there should be public access times) ~riverwalk ~park with a long concrete walking trail (these may be bumpy tho check it out beforehand) ~pavilions ~college campus streets/sidewalks are usually nicer quality ~skateparks (I recommend morning hours since skateboarders crowd quickly & it’s overwhelming when they’re around) ~beach sidewalks ~parking lots ~rich neighborhoods Hope this helps froggy/anyone else looking for tips :))

I learned to rollerskate in my parent’s kitchen and was so excited to get right back into it years later… only to find I had in fact, completely lost my sense of balance. Also I was trying to skate outside, which I had never really done before. It was a less-than-pleasant surprise to find that even the sidewalk was so bumpy that my whole body was rattled by existing. So that was fun.

I rollerskate (using quad skates) and it does take a minute to remember how to do it from childhood but it does come back! I also tried on sidewalks first (because I got so so excite when they came in and wanted to use the immediately) and that does NOT work because sidewalks are usually too bumpy so thats probably why you had issues. I tried in a parking lot later and it was way way better. Going to a rink is a great idea, but if you want to skate outside a smoothish, flat parking lot or top of a parking deck or tennis court is great! Good luck and I hope you try skating again

I was a rollerblading kid too but I’m a beginner rollerskater now! Getting your bearings inside is a good way to start if you have some areas without carpet, or at a local basketball court or something like that is a good place to start! I skate in my old high school on weekends/after hours because it’s flat and there’s lots of concrete areas :o) but keep at it!
