yup but some people (like this creator) don't care about that because they only care about the bottom line (making money). Unfortunate and shameful.

Yes. But they made ordinary people to get interesnd and even hooked up. I forgot about this hobby before until that scandal blowed up. I can give them that. Many people and old collectors woke up from that and ran to grade their games which was a healthy thing for this hobby.

Would you ever consider starting your own grading company? I think people know your motives and would trust your genuine grading on products. Idk, maybe something to think about for the future! I work at VGA,CGA we use reslly good acrylic and take pride in a work(most of us) we do have a longer wait time but its worth it for what we do with your collectible items

I want to grade my games for my personal collection. Honestly dont care for the grade. Just want my special games encapsulated and put on display. So i was going to go with CGC since they are a tad cheaper and im in FL. However, the 3 games i want graded are all PC games. Max payne 1 2 and 3. I called CGC and they said they currently dont grade PC games at the moment, but good chance they will in the future. Freakin bummer.

That is a good catch. Stating the importance of headers, the bigger it is the more important it is. Hey! I also watch GetTheGregGames lol. The gray color in Wata makes it look more professional for sure. VGA does have sleek acrylic cases, I completely agree. You poinpointed amazing points in this video. Wait the VGA just got absolutely destroyed from a normal drop like tempered glass? That's a pretty important deal breaker, if you're displaying it long term for personal use and not resale, eventually one or two might drop. Cat, dog, kids, guest, tripped, etc,. Or even for moving. It does look the best by far though, agree there

I have the deluxe edition of bulders gate 3 shipping to me this month I wanna know if its possible to get that whole thing graded instead of taking the physical game out the deluxe edition box and sending that in.

Graded games are dumb unless you wanna flip them. Personally as long as a game is real and in decent condition most people won't care if it's graded

If you submit a non-sealed game to them, do they just grade the outside box or do they look inside and grade the inner stuff as well (like manual/promo cards)?

Have you submitted to wata recently? Two week turnarounds on turbo. Cgc also just a few weeks. Vga is getting faster but still 4-6 months at archival tier (fastest), at $125 per game (before insurance).

Anyone bothered by the opening in VGA cases? (ie. bottom back of the case) You would think humidity and germs would get in overtime should you ever display them without the ugly opaque plastic bag

If wata is easiest, how do you explain all the wata games grading higher with cgc? The 9.8 A++ Mario kart 64 was wata 9.6 The 9.8 Mario 3 was wata 9.6 I can rattle off A dozen of that bumped. So not sure why you think cgc is harder. Also the tank wata case if you drop it the top pops right off, and cgc cases are damaging games. And lastly I judge grading companies by the webpage too. Wata for the win. It’s all about the webpage.

Each of them took their niche. Flippin potential and hype from WATA. Compatability with other graded items from CGC. Overall superior case design from VGA. VGA feels like PSA. Both of them provide pleasant minimalistic case designs.

If only someone would offer grading service for collector edition/bigger box games aside from VGA. Their website alone is enough to turn me off from using them and I have a lot of CE games sealed and ready for grading. I really don't wanna fill out their crappy forms and then pay over $100 per game for the displeasure of doing so. Waiting for WATA or someone, anyone to pick up the slack here.
