Applying white slip - Mishima Pottery Technique

I am a professional potter from Saga, Japan.
My specialty is Karatsu style "Mishima" technique.
Today I’m going to apply white slip to mugs, using a sponge and a brush.

追記　他の動画も見せていただき、白化粧の後素焼きすることがわかりました。それから焼成ですね。

Thank you for your videos they are wonderful. Do you do one firing only? Do you apply slip to the dry clay, let dry for a week, apply glaze and then fire only one firing in the whole process? Thank you.

Thank you so much! I did bisque firing after I applied the slip. After that, I applied glaze and did glaze firing.

とても参考になります、ありがとうございます。印花を施したカップに白化粧する際は一度素焼きをしたものでしょうか？ 白化粧を終えた釉薬　焼成　とありましたので　窯焼きは一度だけなのかな？と　陶芸初心者なのであまりにもの愚問でしたらお恥ずかしいのですがお答えいただけると幸いです。

独学で陶芸をしています。 スポンジで乗せるやり方は初めて見ました！ 化粧土を浸し掛けしたり 筆やハケで厚めに塗ったりすると、乾燥の途中でいくつかの作品はボロボロに崩れてしまい、それはある程度仕方がないことだと、とある先生がKZbinで仰っていました。 こちらのやり方ですと外側は薄塗りになる為、作品が全体的に崩れることは無いのでしょうか？それとも施し方に関わらず、一定数は大きくひび割れたり崩れたりしてしまうものなのでしょうか？

ご視聴ありがとうございます！ スポンジで施すと崩れることはあまりないです。一回では発色が薄いので、２回〜3回繰り返すと白くなります。
