I remember going to Japan to begin my shakuhachi study. My teacher played watazumi-do for me after my first lesson. I didnt like it at all. He laughed at me and said ( And i $hit you not... ) "Once you have completed your studies, you will come back to this music.... and you will eat those words." He was right, because I would like to go back in time and slap myself. Watazumi-do was not only a master, but also a genius. On another level and underappreciated in his time. Thank you for sharing this music, Ben!
