Kudos to all 3 participants for putting yourselves out there! One-on-one interviews can be nerve-wracking, so it was especially brave of you to do this on KZbin for everyone to see. And the panelists were so kind and helpful. I'm interviewing for an internship these days and I've learned a lot from this video. Thank you so much!

Great interviews. I do noticed that when the first girl she stops sharing her screen we kind of lost her and we could tell that they felt that was weird to not looking at her face... may be something for her to improve, also her pace was a little bit low that may be part of her personality. In general all three did good in being honest and very engaging, specially the third one, she explained her thinking very clearly.

the girl at the start presents her tone like she hates everything about design, research, and the existence of this video. So depressing. Where is the damn passion in the fact that Google is literally coaching you right now.

Personality assessment in interviews is absolute garbage. It presumes that interviewers can understand a person in a social context without having that context. My past experience with trained therapists has shown me that they don’t feel that one-or even two-meetings is sufficient to truly understand a person. Moreover, I have been asked questions regarding personal habits, activities, and relationships that have absolutely no place in an interview and can only be categorized as being discriminatory. Experience, understanding, and drive are ALL that matters. I have gotten along with almost everyone I’ve ever worked with, and the few I haven’t gotten along with have had serious issues with others as well. Professionalism is easy, and we don’t have to be buddies to be a great team.

Chloe is a bit too serious and should lighten up, but I understand interviews can be nerve wrecking.

Nah, she wasn't rude or short - better to be serious if you're nervous, its not a date its a job interview, and a design one on too of that. Maybe lighter delivery matters in sales or customer service.

google has one of the biggest hubs outside the US in my home country, but none of my former fellow students would apply there. in fact, google imports all the people from other parts of the world anyway. we have virtually no chance of getting hired. but no one wants to anyway because the hiring process is incredibly long and boring.
