If you can hang with the best, win or lose, that’s enough to earn the fans respect. Example: I thought Pat Stay was whack for a long time and Hollow was gonna kill him on KOTD. Pat lost but he hung with a goat, and that changed my perspective after that. Again, a rapper lost but didn’t die against the absolute best. If that doesn’t make you respect Ward as a rapper, you’re just a hater. I’m not a big fan of his content either, but I keeps it real. I respect A. Ward for staying true to himself, admitting losses, and always coming with heat.

This battle is CLASSIC. This is Illmac’s best performance of the last decade. & A. Ward was fire as well. His three rounds for ‘mac woulda thirtied so many other rappers. Illmac was just on another level in this one. A. Ward ALWAYS brings it. Even when he loses, he comes with HEAT but his opponents just turn up. In the 2022 BOTY vs. Nitty it’s pretty clear Rum won, but again: Ward did amazing. Same story vs. Bigg K.
