Speaking as an owner of two Mals, two Dobermans and a German Shepherd - Malinois are generally the most attentive breed to your energy. Yes they are a lot of work but the rewards are incredible. Once you bond with this breed, you will judge all others by it. The smarts and forwardness of a Mal is unrivaled. This is the cause of the myth about the Mal being crazy. They do have a lot of energy but they are the Olympians of the dog world. Always remember that.

You hit the nail on the head! Thank you for that. It's because I can only save the ones I can that I started this channel. Imagine ... hundreds of millions of animals are dying all over the world every year and my work is minimal when compared to that statistic. So ... when this channel grows we can dub it into 35-languages and our shows can be seen all over the planet. By showing that the world CAN be like for the animals I hope to help more than the ones I can rescue in person. I am spending the rest of my life on this mission.

What a beautyful shelter 👍 Of course i watch the video till the end - Mals (and Dutchies) caught my heart since 35 ys - have my 3rd rescue Dutchy now, "turned" all of them from "dangerous" (ex police/military dogs) to amazing family dogs. Those dogs are absolut special: they have the warmest and biggest hearts full of love. Yes they can be a deadly force, yes they love to bite, but no they are not aggressive. They would rather die before not obeying when you tell them not to bite. To all the people out there willing to pick them for rescue: yes you need to learn about their needs, but they are incredible fast learners who only want to please you (and your family). Give them and yourself time, be always fair and be open to learn new things about and from them. They are the most adaptable breeds out there - don't be irritated: they are a just little bit faster than other breeds and most humans, but you will get used to it and this will keep you young 😂 Best wishes for this shelter, all the dogs and people working there from Germany

I don’t have to go looking for dogs or cats, they find me. My latest are a pair of pit bull sisters who were skin and bones when they arrived. One has completely filled out and the other still has ribs showing a little. They seem to be happy to be eating well and having a bed indoors with a doggie door. I think maybe they are close to a year old. It would be interesting to know their story, but I guess that won’t ever happen. I love the way your compound is designed.

There are 2-3 million dying each year in the US in pounds alone. People in the US keep their "pets" only 2 1/2 years. Some cruel people already dumped Amber and the rest in the desert and left them to die. These animal are alive here and I promise each one that that will never happen to her again. Ever. So ... the human "family" is not what you think it is. Our animals are happier with out one!
