Watch and learn willow sculpture 1

Ok, heres the first of some short videos of a willow sculpture I'm going to be making while in lockdown. Have to prepare the willow first so not a lot of content in this one i'm afraid! Im also having a few problems with my camera so i'll try and get that sorted before the next one (please excuse the light exposure, im not a ghost honestly!
They'll be quite candid with limited editing as it takes time and i want to try and get something to you most days if i can.
While im waiting for the willow to soak please keep your ideas coming in for a subject for me to sculpt!

How long do you soak the Willow? Your work is amazing!

As a general rule of thumb, the willow is soaked 24 hours per foot of willow..eg 4 foot = 4 days 4 night, 5 foot = 5 days, 5 nights etc.. we usually soak for an extra night & then let it mellow for a day. 😊
