Still watching this years later, when I now have a miniature Aussie. They absolutely steal your heart and will be bound to you by love forever. Even though Tex was the King of the weaving poles, Holster still deserves credit for an absolutely incredible time. Gorgeous dog, gorgeous name.

when i take mine to the park, i am amazed at how fast this breed of dog is. We play games and I run full speed and the dog doesnt even look like he's trying. My fastest run is a light jog for him. These guys belong on a ranch, full time.

Australian shepherds and border collies are almost the same so in a way a australian shepherd is an border collie and a border collie is an australian shepherd

Nooo Australian Shepherds are definitely very different! If you watch an Aussie and a Border Collie being handled, you notice quite a few differences most of the time. Also, just the way they herd is very different and that is reflected in how they tend to run in Agility!

Ever watch flyball? There is a rule that you are only allowed to have one border collie on a team. Reason being border collie's excel in events such as that and agility.

Love 'em all but I'm partial to blue merles. I fell for a foster who was spoken for but 2 years later I got a rescue who was deemed "untrainable." He gave me 13 years of being an absolute gentleman. They don't all have to be agility heroes.

In Australia we have Australian cattle dogs or Blue Heelers & are very different from the American breed of the Australian Shepard. They don’t have the long coats, are more powerfully built & are red in colour as well.

We have Australian Cattle Dogs in America as well. They are smart, but more aggressive than the Shepherds, and are destructive if they get bored. They must have a job to do. Shepherds are my favorite, gorgeous, great temperament, and most are people pleasers. My heart dog is a red Merle. IDK what I'd do without her!

Why a mini? I've been with Australia Shepherds most of my life. My mom raised show and heading litters. Why oh why is mini Aussies even a thing? It goes against breed stock and standard! We are bastardizing the breed! It's not as bad as idiots mixing poodles and Aussies and whatever sick creations but still! Leave the breed ALONE
