The delay is due to the brushless motor. It has 2 revolutions before the motor kicks in. So that's normal on any electrical device with brushless motor. Basically means will last a lot longer.

I check my blades in the middle of my neck where it is very sensitive. Blade up and blade down. Big difference between that and your arm or hand, even your face. If it bites, no way will I use it like that on my customers.

I wonder how many times I can use this clipper to bald out my some before I need to replace the expensive blade for it? Also How long will the clipper last before it fails? Because balding out your head takes alot more running time than edging up. Deciding between these and Andis ZR 2 because of it's blade interchangable ability. Yes the FX Gold would be better for lining up the beard. So In The end, I may have two buy two sperate clippers, a Take down clipper "Andis ZR2" and FX Gold. Wish the ZR2 had wireless Matt charging ☹️

That’s a hard question because if your busy all the time of course you would need to change the blade faster than someone who not cutting a lot. My guess would be 6mos before you need to change the blade. I would pick the zr2 between the two

Eather one is great but the gold is a little better and the sliver one comes with a 2.0 deeptooth blade I can make them both hit the same so if u good at setting blades it dont matter witch one u buy

I just bought the new Andis cordless master. Need another clipper to do my own lineups. I don't feel like the Andis T-outliner is giving the desired lineup effect. I'm debating between this babyliss clipper and the Wahl detailer. I'm wondering which will be easier to use and give me sharper lines. I'm a novice cutting my own hair.

Ray Ray they are both nice clippers. i would say the wahl detailed are really good when modified and sharpened. babyliss come out good zero gapped i would say it’s just your preference i been using wahl retailer over 6 years and babyliss for months slimline pros are great aswell when adjustwe

@@eevee4408 Well I went with the Wahl detailer (it's significantly cheaper), I received it last night from Amazon. I think I now have everything I need. I got my Cordless Andis Master with guards (for hair), Corded Andis T-outliner for beard, and now the Wahl detailer for line-ups. At this point I just need to work on my skills! Ray Ray if you’re in the US, go to atlantabarber.com. Get the premium guards tho. I didn’t care for the magnetic guards myself. But a lot of Barbers love em.
