I love these types of videos! You really play with all the colours and give us the goods with the looks. I used this palette today and I have 5 shades left to use. Pro tip, use nettle with the yellows and lime greens it works better with those tones as I used all of them today. I didn't have an issue with the mattes but maybe its I found the right brushes who knows? I am excited to finish no pan left behind on it!

My left lid doesn't want to hold shadow like my right, my eyes water so much, etc... it makes me so mad! HAHA, but there are worse things in life so I really shouldn't complain haha!!

Hi Steph I think it’s worth trying some of the mattes when you find your normal Nars primer. The primer can make a massive difference. I don’t think they looked patchy on video btw. The other thing is it’s much easier to do the outer corners if you do your eyes first - you can blend much better and clean up anything that went too far down. By trying to stay within the confines of where you want it to end you’re maybe not blending as well as you do the rest of the time (I hope that makes sense 😂). The other thing is fallout can create a shadow if it’s a really fine sprinkling without looking like noticeable fallout. I do my primers all together and then do my eyeshadow. I do my brows and eyeliner and mascara after my base, but doing the eyeshadow first makes a huge difference. I did my face first for YEARS😂, but feel like it really helped me by doing my eyeshadow first. It’s a pretty palette and as usual the shades you don’t like are the ones I do (I really like mint green 😂). Best wishes x

@@daniellezadora7637 Hi I don’t have the palette to be able to guide you in the way someone else could, but perhaps something like Steph did without the warmer shimmer? Let the two mint tones be the star but use something deeper for balance? Perhaps mixing the mint matte with something a bit deeper for the crease and then deepening the outer corner, then the mint shimmer on the lid and inner corner? In any case enjoy xx

That is a really good point, if I did my eyes first I could be sloppier blending to get a good blend and then clean up. I may just start filming these types of videos doing my eye first like I would normally do ❤❤

I always struggle with mints too, I think mostly because I just don't care for the tones on me. I will say I usually do like mints with taupes on others :)

I think placing the shimmers high on your eye was very beautiful and flattering. I have so many greens and stuff I need to use and will be skipping this palette, but I remember having to have the Too Faced Pumpkin Pie palette for those similar green tones. They’re hard to resist 😂 Beautiful looks, great review!

I know that I shouldn't complain, because I know that it is much worse for others outside of the US. I am fortunate to rarely pay shipping over $10, so sometimes it's jarring, and honestly I'd rather just spend $50 more in eyeshadow with the brand than $15 in shipping. ❤

The high shipping has prevented me from ordering. A $39 palette plus $15 is a $54 palette. That is really expensive.
