I feel like getting lost in dungeons is kinda the point. I get, it can be frustrating, but your not supposed to know where your going, its a dungeon. I agree that the base size limit should be bigger, especially for how big some of these pals can get. Hopefully thats a setting in the custom game mode that can be changed.

A- I’m totally fine with travelling to other bases for resources yes I know it’ll be easier but it gives you a reason to go to other bases instead of just waiting for pals to do everything B- Things taking lodes of ingots is normal in survival games it happens

Thats called marketing and the "FOMO" effect, you like it solely because everyone is talking about it and you dont have it. I love pokemon too much so its hard for me to not compare And despite the fact that i love vtubers and i see that hololive is being paid to play and endorse this. I still couldnt feel fomo from it. Its too subpar. Like the next game every creator is paid to make a buzz on then forget about in 1-2 months.

Linked storage might interfere with automation. However, I think it could be pretty cool if there was a way to set up a flying pal to carry items from one base to another and allow use to setup custom logistics.

The first time I saw the announcement of this game, I thought it would be just a scam, or it would die for copyright problems. But I'm glad it has a chance to do well, I don't support Nintendo prices, but I love Pokemon.

True, it's the reason why I stopped doing the Instance Dungeons because of their crossroads. At least add a mini-map to prevent you from getting lost

I think this game is great for a small group of people per server. rather than 30+ people in a server, i think at most it should be 10 if not less. the game as you said seem to encourage multi-base systems. by than i mean, they want you to have specialized bases outside of your "main base" which would be your most beautiful base.

This is so incredible!! Its like Pokemon Legends Arceus x Breath of the Wild x Ark Survival Evolved!! I know the game ain't perfect, but none of my favorite games are!! This is getting me back into that Monster Tamer mindset!! I LOVE that you have your own character with gear and weapons on top of using monsters!

I feel like the dungeons in this game are definitely one of the things that they haven't had the chance to really flesh out yet. Im not trying to give them a free pass (because I do think the current critiques of the dungeons are 100% valid) but I do have a feeling they will develop these with more palette and terrain sets (and hopefully more varied objectives). I think this is a really good review to watch from my perspective so far (I have watched about 8 or so different reviews to see what people are thinking about the game) and I think you did a great job highlighting the good parts of the game but also keeping people's expectations realistic with the buggy aspects.

i mean, if this were real life and i tried to keep pet godzilla, the meg, and an entire zoo of creatures in my back yard I'm sure i wouldn't have a house either and they would all likely have issues traversing my tiny acre home just as the pals are. maybe it's by design... who knows?!

Three days too late to post this, but be mindful the GamePass version is hella behind on updates compared to Steam. Small examples differences, besides the multiplayer stuff, I can think of: -Craft recipe for arrows makes 1 on GP, 3 on steam -The recipe for the statue to power up pals is an ancient tech in GP, normal tech on steam. -Some item names are different. Some just have placeholder names (en_axe4). -Some pals have "This pal is still under investigation" description for their pal moves, like Cinnamoth's poison move. -You can't even exit the game, the title screen has no exit/close option lol I'm sure there's more. It's still absolutely playable and fun, but if you're concerned with faster updates maybe consider the Steam version instead.
