Thor was unbooked, Ninja brings a drop defense, so not quite the same scenario. He did almost as much damage as Ninja, with no books, and zero drop defense. I'd say he's worth getting for anyone but the super high end accounts, and even then, good as a 3rd team nuker.

Maybe did as much as Ninja or Varl before they could stack their passives. Once they get stacked it'll be no where close. Ninja was free recently and Mikage is fuseable. Those 2 together blow Thor out of the water. Thor will be good a 2nd or 3rd team nuker, but they are not on the same level.

@@Turtleshellon You realize books are multiplicative damage right? A 5 star heavencast, in the best case scenario, adds 11.5% damage (with 10 buffs up the entire time). A 2 star adds 5% damage (with 10 buffs up the entire time). That's only a 6.5% damage difference (considering 2 and 5 star give the same amount of atk). Each book adds 10-15% damage (depending on champ). The idea wasn't, is Ninja better than Thor, it was in a similar scenario what is the outcome to consider if people should go for this Fusion if they already have Ninja. Given that Thor had 6.5% more damage (best possible case scenario) because of Heavencast, but was missing a minimum of 20% damage. We can add 13.5% to Thor's overall damage, and get a good idea of where he stands (not counting Ninja having a single target drop defense).

I cleared Barbarian FW with Skarg, Alika, Crohnam, and Scyl who carried me though, then with Raf-Matab or Djamarsa at 50. Thor will 100% decimate Faction Wars.

HH another commenter mentioned he’s not booked and decrease def from Ninja. You also had weaken from Varl. Further him placing decrease speed means archer doesn’t place it and you don’t get the huge turn metre boost so your team could have been running a lot slower.

Hey Simon, great video as always, I have a question. Do you know if Thor’s A2 counts as a multi-hit? Basically I am wondering if Bolint Freewalker’s passive (where every hit from the second to infinity of a multi-hit skill does 15% more damage for each hit) works with Thor. It would be hilarious if you could use it in spider to build into a massive nuke (would be RNG at which point you hit spider) but he would have 100% extra damage from his passive after 5 hits and he would also get 11-12x 15% increases (so another 150+% damage) from Bolint.

Cool potential. But are people going to be able to get him 5* Soul? Is HH and the community at large expecting a Titan event afterwards? For collectors I imagine he's a must have. Considering HH's testing, he's probably a can't go wrong fusion. But maybe not a must-have otherwise. Let's just hope his fusion events aren't priced at a must-have rate.

I want to repeat HH's caveat that he's got Thor in "insane" gear--hence the "insane" damage. I think if you *need* a nuker AND have the resources AND the time to go for him, he's a very good Champion to add to your arsenal. But it should be noted that he's comparable to Ninja--a Champion a lot of people should already have. So if damage is purely your interest in Thor, then to me, there are already a lot of existing options in the game. Just doing what I can to try to cool down people's FOMO a little! 😆

Skip. I didn’t need to know his damage to know his kit wasn’t special. As an end gamer I’m only going thru the hassle of out dated dungeons and gear for a Fusion if the kit is unique AND powerful. Yeah I thought I heard the same but on boozors video he tested it against spider and on first wave there’s 8 spider lings plus spider makes 9 hits and with warmaster proc it makes passive proc as well. It seems to me that this would make him great as damage dealer. Hopefully they don’t nerf him now.

HH...you've been playing long enough to say the difference of the fusions...we have the traditional (get rares to fuse to epics to fuse lego), we have fragements (get fragments to apply towards lego), and the hybrid (fragments towards epics, fuse epics to lego)...This is a hybrid fusion...
