I love this show, and it gives me so much pride and inspiration to see a black woman starring in this with so much power. The best thing about the show so far is that she uses her power with class and fairness. I wish this was reality. It saddens me that the show isn’t reality, that the justice system is so broken.

I’ve been binging Hart of Dixie the past couple weeks, and this is my first time seeing Wilson Bethel act. It’s strange for me to see him going from Wade to this suit and tie lawyer. But I’m glad I get to see him in something else after I finish Hart of Dixie.

Nicole Swanson you should check out him as bullseye on daredevil. he’s a scary little fuck in it. he’s in season 3 but the first two seasons without him are so worth it. if you think this is strange just wait till you see him as a psychopath. also he was in an episode of criminal minds and some of how to get away with murder but if you like him you might wanna skip that one because he plays a rapist.

I used to work in the L.A. court system. Judicial Assistant's do not treat judges like they are their supervisors. The main character's accersion that there are not judges in the court that are diverse is not true. I remember judges that are white, black, men, women. And, the idea that the bailiff would bring evidence of lying by the prosecution's; wherever he got the information, is highly unlikely. The show seems more about trying to right or bring to light real or perceived wrongs in the judicial system.

Simone Missick was my favourite part of Luke Cage and Wilson Bethel was my favourite part of Daredevil season 3, I predict good things from this show. Also the diversity doesn't feel forced, we've got a black female lead, a white male lead a wide array of background characters from all walks of life by the looks of it and it doesn't come across as elitist and preachy. Looks good.
