It's hard not to be affected by hubris when you sit for so long at the top. If it helps, it was the European Union you helped to create that got us all in this predicament. In my country, unfortunately, the hope of saying goodbye to the European federation is dead for a long time. England is no longer in the EU, but the stigma is still around some areas, and others remain infected, such as your government. Tend to the infection first for that is what causing all the pain.
