I love the idea of retiring these great men. It helps the church to appreciate and value them before they pass on to Glory. Many times we wait till they die before valuing them. People dont realize that these men are getting old, and because we still need the fathers of faith to live longer to strengthen and guide the sons, this strategy of retirement is therefore brilliant and wise. Do you know that a massive part of the ministry burden and administrative work has shifted from Daddy Adeboye and Bishop Oyedepo in their respective ministries, It is their own way of retiring without actually publicizing it because they are the main mandate bearers. The idea is for them to have more time to focus on the most important things (prayer & ministry of the Word) and of course for their bodies to have more rest as they are not growing younger. Bishop Abioye will still be an integral part of the Church executive but he can rest now and support other ministries with his grace and wealth of wisdom

I had an encounter with Bishop Abioye in my dream when i was looking for admission in the University. In the dream, I was sitted beside an uncompleted building, looking very unkempt and my foot was bleeding because I stepped on a nail. He was walking towards an uncompleted building with his wife, probably to supervise the work. On sighting me, he stopped and said"little girl, what are you doing here alone?" Me, looking at him and my bleeding foot, I said I seek for an admission into the university, he said" Go and be admitted" I got my admission that year. This man is so humble My aunty husband and family are close to him. So I have been to his office and seen him in the house. He is so humble to the core! Sir, may God strengthen you. May His light upon you shine brightly. You're indeed a blessing to our world. Listening to your preaching at Durumi was so inspiring. Listening to your days of little beginning is an inspiration. You will do more for God.His anointing shall continue to be ceaseless upon you.
