My 84% Far Cry 3 has been bothering me since I reacquired all of the achievements for the remaster. Currently going for Bully 100%. I couldn't 100% it back then on PS2 and it has haunted me for years. Bully is comfort food I will always come back to but I must complete it now. Even unlocking the secret outfit that doesn't count towards percentage.

@@standingdoor7077 Yeah honestly I was gunning for it in a game recently and I just got to the point of "would you rather beat this game and enjoy it, or grind the rest of this game and never come back." Like I did everything that tangibly gave you items, upgrades or story lore but I was not at all into picking up random collectables with nothing to gain from it but a steam achievement. To me, Bully is a game I think grinding stuff is fun in, but a lot of games cant toe that line of meaningful side content and filler. I'm saying that from the perspective of a former game tester/QA, when you enjoy a game play it as long as it makes you happy lol

what made this game so great for me, is that it was the FIRST IP that Ubisoft made that was connected to the Assassins Creed Universe directly. in one of the Missions you can do, you assassinate the owner of Abstergo Entertainment Montreol, and it can be seen later on in AC4. and on the topic if AC4, i want you to 100% the ENTIRETY of AC4 next.

Watch Dogs is underrated, the Story and tone are great and the hacking while simple and the puzzles can get repetitive are fun. Combat is my favorite part however, im happy this is an Alternative Universe Chicago where you can walk into any gun store and walk out with an armory in your back pocket

But he did try (and managed) to beat that 19.7 seconds record (knowing he wouldn’t get any trophy) just because I mentioned it. The original is still much harder to platinum than the remaster overall because of the Soec Ops missions. He’s close to beating them though.

I think the original includes spec ops but those are a nightmare especially as they become more creative like a juggernaut only group of enemies and I had a friend back in the day help me by me being a door to prevent them from coming inside a room and my friend will take cover and fight them and heal me as a human door

I recent went back and played through this game with some mods on PC, it actually holds up surprisingly well and is a good crime-thriller kinda story compared to the more lighthearted tone of WD2. Both games are pretty underrated since everyone likes to claim they're just "GTA clones"

A nice touch I like in this game is that the collectibles that are story related like the human trafficking AND your reputation will actually affect the ending credits and I’m so glad I did my second play through with an actual brain

This is a weird game in history. Had it not been pegged as the GTA killer, with itself going "6 months is enough in Los Santos" in ad campaigns before delaying the game (to make to meet new console specs as the game originally shown was very clearly not capable of running on new let alone the old gray mare platforms) and the weird media back/forth regarding the Wii U version (as it was set up to be one of the killer apps on the struggling console) it would've been received much differently. It very very much was believed to be the first representative of what next gen gaming could be, to the point retailers were bundling the game well in advance to meet demand and push sales of the next gen consoles. Would it have sold better or worse is the question had the campaign not done that? There was also the weird expectation that this was going to be the offset of Assassins Creed, so it would get a yearly break and Watch Dogs would alternate for shareholder purposes. Just..so weird to me.

I remember loving the online hacking mode, I would invade someone game and just hide in the car in front seat, it lowers your character a bit in the front seat like your hiding for your Ex lol. It helps a lot for the mode, also I just kept driving around in the traffic blending in, it was fun.

One of my biggest gripes with this game (and Ubisoft) is that it doesn’t allow multiple saves, so you can’t replay it without deleting your progress. I loved this game with all my heart and it annoys me that I can’t replay this & 2 without deleting aaaaaall the hours I committed to it. Finishing off every detail and every award, god why would a game do that? Let me play my game on repeat goddamit!!

It's kinda amazing a decade later and the watch dog games are still a hidden gem. I remember at the time when wd1 came out it was def kinda like ehh it's no GTA so don't bother but going back to it now, it's absolutely a hidden gem and more people need to give it a shot. I always do all the side stuff before finishing the story when going for a platinum (if it’s possible to do it all before the end of course). Nothing like the platinum popping as the credits roll. Also, it’s harder to put a game down when all that’s left to do is the story versus when you’ve beaten the story and all you have is side content to do. It’s way easier to drop a game when all you have is side content left.

The “Disk Space Full” trophy was a nightmare for me, I got the Watch Dogs platinum 8 years ago now but I still vividly remember that trophy, 6+ hours of walking around hacking civs for the 3 RNG songs, I ended up making over a million dollars due to the little amounts of money you get here and there lol just ridiculous. Great game though!
