This isn't from Nexus apart from the nexus logo, the other ones are from 2012/2013 versions of the game, Nexus is 2011 You do say that in the video but the title and thumbnail implies otherwise

These aren’t from nexus.. Nexus is almost an entirely different game compared to the version shown here. Slick was even able to restore the main nexus menu which revealed 3 playable characters were planned and you play as Clara Lille to monitor them through ctos (or Chicago OS during the nexus stage)

Bit imaginative though, Aiden's story was the main one but they planned DLC's for TBone (we got that), Jordi and Clara And also the main menu showed that you're logged into Blume (or Axiom back then) as Clara (she originally worked for Blume)

It’s interesting that at 3:22 you see the hacking mini game icons were representing WiFi routers and computer/cellphone hotspots. Someone should mod that back into the game I think that’s a great touch of realism. I wonder why they removed that, maybe it felt too close to home for some people?

This is still in final game but completely redesigned, those puzzles where you have to rotate the thing to match, the only difference is the design and removal of camera features but it's essentially the same thing It's not really possible to mod the original back in

@@HeySlickThatsMe yea I know they replaced the WiFi symbols with padlocks and got rid of the descriptions of the access points you’re actually hacking. I’m sure someone could mod those in or something similar

The fact the official release didn't get the MotionGraphicVideo as an intro video like we got with Watch Dogs 2 is strange especially when the same female narrates it, it would have set the game up better. Like I gotta explain exactly what that video says to most people when introducing them to the lore of watch dogs.

That video was released by Ubisoft on their channel, it was also featured before 2012 demo was shown It only didn't make it into the game

It’s interesting how watch dogs message started stepping away from this criticism on big tech invading peoples lives. In WD1 it was clearly the main focus, WD2 it was a big part of its story but was definitely reeled back a bit. By WD3 they seemed to have lost the social commentary entirely. That game felt more like Fortnite story mode tho so might not count it
