I love how the firefighter and police officer, as soon as they stop fleeing for their own lives, immediately turn and run toward the crashed truck to see if the driver needs help. That’s the ❤ of rescue personnel. God bless them!

That driver of the box truck was traveling way too fast for conditions. This is a problem with some drivers, they were never taught how to drive properly in severe weather conditions. Speed does kill. 😞

@@beliedat2457 All I had to see was this truck smacking something before the fire engine and then the firetruck itself to know he was speeding and out of control considering the weather. If he had been driving slower he would have never lost control of that straight truck.

This kind of accident is becoming much too common each winter on our roads. Please watch and slow down for our first responders and those working to move broken down equipment off our roads. We can't afford to lose those who are a critical part of our daily safety.

No one was hurt in that crash. First responders were assisting when a 24-foot box truck jackknifed on the interstate while driving toward the scene. A photo released by the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office from the scene of a Dec. 12, 2024, crash on eastbound I-94 near Sprinkle Road. Praise God!!!

Driver of the truck needs to be charged with reckless driving, not driving to the condition of the road. Needs to be charged willful negligence, attempted manslaughter on emergency personnel, destruction of government property. This idiot should rot in jail for at least 50 yrs.

This is one of my biggest fears every time my husband leaves home. People don’t care and refuse to move over. We want them to come home to their wives/husbands and kids please slow down and let them live.

They don't salt the roads anymore like they used to. It's hard to kill yourself in a car these days with the antilock brakes and air bags but it's still possible.

Now they don't need to use salt. In my city they use chemicals to spray the streets and not salt.
