PS for those outside of the States. 269 for each candidate is a Dry Heat. Each will require 270 of the electoral college to win the election. In this event a Contingent Election. The house of Representatives majority choose the President and the Senate majority choose the Veep.

Newmont is now oversold on several indicators (and close to its 200d MA). It's possible that it will stabilize here and start moving back up slowly, as gold moves up. Still, very disappointing as over the last few months the "experts" were saying that the sector will take off once Q3 earnings start coming out. As usual, one event can derail the entire sector.

Short term. US Dollar is still King. Look at Buffets cash position. He looks to be prepping for a crash. That said, I'll probably just hold (miners) and catch some falling knives. Add to my physical. Markets turn too fast for me to trade. I think we have already seen to election type selling last week. Profit taking for the books. JMO

Until recently I've followed everything by you guys, but lately I've been passing it by. Based on the title alone, I didn't watch this one. As a long-term speculator, I don't give a rat's ass if the metals are volatile and correct around the election. I'm not good enough (or dumb enough) to try and trade such volatility, so why would I spend one second thinking about it? I suppose this is like a sports event to you, and you love it so much that you want to analyze every tick. Most metals investors are better off ignoring short-term noise, hence, I'm not watching.

If you have been watching the channel you would know it is long term based. Yet talks about what and why the Gold price is doing what its doing on its way to long term price. Jordan has been in since $1400. Now thats long term.

@SectorEdge Accepted, however, for me, at least, ignoring short-term wiggles is more healthy. The old adage "be right, and sit tight" comes to mind. My comments are meant to help Jordan. Think of them as personalized viewership analytics. My advice to nervous gold and silver bulls is to zoom out and take a breath. Most of you would be better off ignoring the market for a week or two. Stop obsessing. Be right (you are), and sit tight. Walk in nature, or watch cute cat videos...

Because there is no certainty in markets. The people who sound confident and project certainty are quite dangerous and have never managed real money or traded futures like Vince has.
