Gwyneth Paltrow has ALWAYS been a great singer and performer, she held her OWN with Huey Lewis in Duets, and in this movie, she was amazing, she didn't want to make a big deal about the soundtrack because she was married to Chris Martin from Coldplay he released his Album the week before and Gwyneth didn't want it to appear that she was trying to compete.

I think Gwyneth made a great country artist in Country Strong. I loved all the music in the movie and plan on getting the soundtrack !! I think she has a decent voice for an actress who hasn't had much singing recognition. I was so impressed with the movie that i went to see it twice. i think they definitely took Taylor Swift's look for her outfits, hair, and even for her stage presence on stage and it totally worked for Miss Paltrow !! I think it was brilliant. LOVE IT.
